This has to be my saddest photograph of the summer:

Hubby and I have been welcoming in the cooler weather (and less brutal sunshine) with walks and hikes back to all our old familiar haunts. This day we made the 4 mile trek over the Hudson River via a re gentrified railroad bridge called Walkway Over The Hudson. This used to be an old railroad bridge that has been recently turned into a walkway. Bikes and dogs are allowed (on leash!) and wearing a mask is mandatory despite being outside. Hey! It’s New York. We’ve been through enough. Our covid rate is below 1% and they want to keep it that way!

sounds lovely!
