Not too too much going on in the kitchen this week. The hot weather is back. We did have one great summertime meal of BBQ baby back ribs (on sale, only $9.92 for the whole rack), sweet corn direct from the farm and home made cole slaw. Another evening we had a cold pasta salad complete with artichoke hearts, capers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, a cut up tomato directly out of our garden, all smothered in a garlic vinaigrette dressing. As usual, we had grilled salmon with tzatziki sauce on Friday night but I didn’t take any photos. Two mornings this week, hubby made a frittata. One with zucchini. The other with roasted green peppers. A dozen eggs only costs $1.15 at Aldi, so we are tending to eat a lot of eggs. All veggies came from my garden.

We’re eating good in the neighborhood, for sure!
