You’d think that the words “thrifty” and “vacation” together would be an oxymoron, well they’re not. It’s always been possible to take a vacation that didn’t set you back financially. You just have to know how to do it. For us, that’s RVing. After hearing my friends lament over $450 a day hotel rooms or $3000 a week condo rentals, those $40 a night RV stays are still a bargain.
We are staying at a newish fancy RV resort right on the beach with every amenity man can think of for only $100 a night. Pools. Surf. Cafes. Bonfires. Wine tasting parties. The fun just goes on and on. But it’s a lifestyle. We choose vacationing this way. It takes a bit of work. But it pays off in the end.
